SUMMARY:Member Meeting: Nutrition Entrepreneurship: How to Generate Income Through an Online Course
DESCRIPTION:Please join us on February 3rd as Registered Dietitian Rebecca Ellison shares her experiences with entrepreneurship. Rebecca received her Master of Science in Public Health Nutrition and Master of Public Health from the University of Tennessee. Her graduate-level training had a specialized focus in infant-feeding and maternal and child health and that’s where she fell in love with feeding babies.  \n  \nIn her professional career\, Rebecca has experience counseling families in the areas of nutrition and breastfeeding. She also had the privilege of promoting successful breastfeeding at the community level through health policy and program planning\, implementation and evaluation. In this role Rebecca carried out a variety of community-level activities including planning continuing lactation education seminars for medical professionals\, educating local childcare facilities on the topic of infant feeding\, partnering with local hospital administration and employers to improve breastfeeding related policies and practices\, and designing lactation rooms throughout Knox County.  \n  \nCurrently\, Rebecca is the owner/founder of The Baby Nutritionist\, LLC.
