DESCRIPTION:Please join us on Tuesday\, March 30th\, from 3:00-4:00 EST as we host: \nGinger Carney\, MPH\, RDN\, LDN\, IBCLC-RLC\, FILCA\, FAND\,  \nPresident\, Tennessee Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics  \nand \nMary Catherine Schallert MS\, RDN\, LDN\, FAND\n \nTAND Delegate\, House of Delegates  \n  \nGinger Carney is from Memphis\, TN\, and completed her Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics and Dietetic internship at the University of Tennessee (Knoxville)\, and her Masters of Public Health at the University of Memphis.  Her current position is Director of Clinical Nutrition & Lactation at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital where she has been for 12 years.  She has served as president of the Memphis Academy\, and now as president of the Tennessee affiliate. \nMary Catherine Schallert graduated from University of Memphis with a MS in Clinical Nutrition in 2006 and worked as a Critical Care/Nutrition Support Dietitian at the VA Medical Center from 2006-2013. In 2008\, she began teaching Medical Nutrition Therapy I and II at U of M as an adjunct.  Currently\, Mary Catherine serves as the Tennessee Delegate for the House of Delegates. \n  \nTitle: TAND State of the State & Delegate’s Report \n  \nObjectives:  To update the membership on legislative changes affecting the dietetic profession at the state and national level.
