Hello Fellow Dietitians, Friends and Colleagues,
As you cast your ballots for the Academy and DPG candidates this year, I ask for your support and vote for my candidacy as National Academy Candidate for CDR – Registered Dietitian Nutritionist. I currently live in Memphis, TN, with my husband, Will, and two wonderful daughters, Sarah (15) and Emma (13). I am one of the Talent Acquisition Managers for Compass Group, USA, supporting Morrison Healthcare in recruiting dietitians and foodservice professionals for one of the largest contract foodservice companies in the United States.
My current and past experiences in executive leadership, organizational development, and challenging myself into non – traditional dietitian roles have well prepared me! My candidacy will bring professionalism and active engagement to this role. One thing my colleagues will say is that I am persistent and dedicated to expanding our profession and continuing to leading lead dietitians to growth opportunities in traditional and non-traditional careers.
My leadership with both the Tennessee and Memphis Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics Association, other non – profit associations, and my current and past roles with Compass have prepared me for this leadership role with the Academy.
